Sport + Running

Ultra running, athlete support, speaking, writing and creative work within the endurance world, from someone who is actually part of it.

Ultra Runner · Counsellor · Speaker · Creator

My first marathon was in 2023. Four weeks later, I ran my first ultra.

I’d always enjoyed running, but I wasn’t particularly competitive. Then I found longer distances, trails and the strange satisfaction of having a lot to manage over a long day. The more complicated it became, the more it seemed to suit my brain.

Running

Long days, beautiful places and bigger plans.

Trail running gives me the mix I like: structure, challenge, problem-solving, movement and a community that feels less cliquey than many traditional sporting spaces. Right now I’m building towards the Julian Alps and seeing where this could go next.

Sport Counselling + Team Support

The athlete matters. So does the person underneath.

Sport often has excellent performance support, but that can still leave a gap. I’m not a sport psychologist. My role is different. I offer counselling that looks at the whole person, not only what will make them perform better.

01

Eating disorders, RED-S, body image and relationships with food.

02

Identity, perfectionism, pressure, injury, transitions and life outside sport.

03

Individual athletes, clubs, teams and organisations looking for human-first support.

Speaking + Writing

Speaking about the things that matter.

I speak and write about eating disorders, mental health, neurodivergence, sport, endurance and what happens when performance becomes too closely tied to identity. The aim is useful, honest conversation, not generic inspiration.

About Sara

Seeing where this goes next.

Running started as something I enjoyed. It became marathons, then ultras, then bigger races and bigger ideas. I’m interested in what happens next, both in the sport itself and in the work and opportunities around it.
